Downie Central Public School - Home of the Dolphins!

Welcome to Downie Central Public School. We are located on a spacious ten acre parcel of land in the Downie Ward of the Township of Perth South, halfway between Stratford and St. Marys. Our student population is comprised of students from kindergarten through grade eight and presently sits at approximately 200.

At Downie, our goal is to provide quality and engaging academic experiences for all students. We embrace, honour and support individual student differences. Our aim is to build on strengths, create and maintain a safe place to learn and to develop positive citizenship and increased student responsibility and independence.

Over the years, Downie Central Public School has established wonderful relationships and connections within the community with organizations such as the Downie Optimist Club and the Home and School Council. This continued support is always greatly appreciated.
